VICTORIA, Oct. 7, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : The Seychelles defeated Mauritius by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Seychellois,Seychelloise third in Group 4 with 3 points. Mauritius is bottom with one point. In their next game, the Seychelles will meet group leaders Tunisia on March 24, while Mauritius will face Sudan.
