OMDURMAN, Jun. 2, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Mauritius by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The result put the Sudanese second in Group 4 with 9 points. Mauritius is bottom with one point. In their next game, Sudan will meet third-placed the Seychelles on June 16, while Mauritius will face Tunisia.
