MONROVIA, Oct. 8, 2006 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Liberia defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Liberians second in Group 5 with 3 points. Rwanda is bottom with no points. In their next game, Liberia will meet group leaders Cameroon on March 24, while Rwanda will face Equatorial Guinea.
