MALABO, Mar. 25, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Equatorial Guinea defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Equatorial Guineans second in Group 5 with 6 points. Rwanda is bottom with no points. In their next game, Equatorial Guinea will meet Rwanda on June 2, while Rwanda will face Equatorial Guinea.
