MONROVIA, Jun. 3, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Liberia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Cameroonians top of Group 5 with 12 points. Liberia is third with 3 points. In their next game, Cameroon will meet Rwanda on June 17, while Liberia will face Equatorial Guinea.
