GAROUA, Jun. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Cameroon defeated Rwanda by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Cameroonians top of Group 5 with 15 points. Rwanda is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Cameroon will meet second-placed Equatorial Guinea on September 9, while Rwanda will face Liberia.
