FREETOWN, Jun. 3, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Togo defeated Sierra Leone by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Togolese top of Group 9 with 9 points. Sierra Leone is bottom with one point. In their next game, Togo will meet third-placed Benin on June 17, while Sierra Leone will face Mali.
