COTONOU, Jun. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Benin defeated Togo by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Togolese second in Group 9 with 9 points. Benin is third with 8 points. In their last game, Togo will meet group leaders Mali on October 12, while Benin will face Sierra Leone.
