BAMAKO, Jun. 17, 2007 (AMP) — Ghana 2008 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Sierra Leone by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The result put the Malians top of Group 9 with 9 points. Sierra Leone is bottom with one point. In their last game, Mali will meet second-placed Togo on October 12, while Sierra Leone will face Benin.
