PRAIA, Sep. 4, 2010 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Mali by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet Zimbabwe on October 10, while Mali will face Liberia.
