BAMAKO, Oct. 9, 2010 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Liberia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Malians second in Group A with 3 points. Liberia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Mali will meet third-placed Zimbabwe on March 26, while Liberia will face Cape Verde.
