PRAIA, Mar. 26, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Liberia by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group A with 7 points. Liberia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet Liberia on June 5, while Liberia will face Cape Verde.
