BAMAKO, Mar. 26, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Malians second in Group A with 6 points. Zimbabwe is third with 2 points. In their next game, Mali will meet third-placed Zimbabwe on June 5, while Zimbabwe will face Mali.
