HARARE, Jun. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Mali by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Malians second in Group A with 6 points. Zimbabwe is third with 5 points. In their next game, Mali will meet group leaders Cape Verde on September 3, while Zimbabwe will face Liberia.
