HARARE, Sep. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Liberia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Zimbabweans second in Group A with 8 points. Liberia is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, Zimbabwe will meet third-placed Cape Verde on October 8, while Liberia will face Mali.
