CONAKRY, Jun. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Guinea defeated Madagascar by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Guineans top of Group B with 10 points. Madagascar is bottom with one point. In their next game, Guinea will meet third-placed Ethiopia on September 4, while Madagascar will face Nigeria.
