CONAKRY, Sep. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Guinea defeated Ethiopia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Guineans top of Group B with 13 points. Ethiopia is third with 4 points. In their last game, Guinea will meet second-placed Nigeria on October 8, while Ethiopia will face Madagascar.
