ANTANANARIVO, Sep. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Madagascar by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Nigerians top of Group B with 10 points. Madagascar is bottom with one point. In their last game, Nigeria will meet group leaders Guinea on October 8, while Madagascar will face Ethiopia.
