DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 9, 2010 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Tanzania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group D with 4 points. Tanzania is bottom with one point. In their next game, Morocco will meet second-placed Algeria on March 27, while Tanzania will face the Central African Republic.
