MARRAKECH, Jun. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Morocco defeated Algeria by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night.
The result put the Moroccans top of Group D with 7 points. Algeria is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet second-placed the Central African Republic on September 4, while Algeria will face Tanzania.
