BANGUI, Jun. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : The Central African Republic defeated Tanzania by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Central Africans second in Group D with 7 points. Tanzania is third with 4 points. In their next game, the Central African Republic will meet group leaders Morocco on September 4, while Tanzania will face Algeria.
