BUJUMBURA, Oct. 9, 2010 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Burundi by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Ivorians top of Group H with 6 points. Burundi is third with one point. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet second-placed Benin on March 27, while Burundi will face Rwanda.
