KIGALI, Mar. 26, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Rwanda defeated Burundi by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Rwandans third in Group H with 3 points. Burundi is bottom with one point. In their next game, Rwanda will meet Burundi on June 5, while Burundi will face Rwanda.
