COTONOU, Jun. 5, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Benin by a big score of 6-2 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Ivorians top of Group H with 12 points. Benin is second with 4 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet third-placed Rwanda on September 3, while Benin will face Burundi.
