KUMASI, Jun. 3, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Ghana defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon.
The result put the Ghanaians top of Group I with 10 points. Congo-Brazzaville is third with 3 points. In their next game, Ghana will meet Swaziland on September 2, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Sudan.
