BRAZZAVILLE, Sep. 4, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.

The result put the Sudanese second in Group I with 13 points. Congo-Brazzaville is third with 3 points. In their last game, Sudan will meet group leaders Ghana on October 8, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Swaziland.
