BLANTYRE, Mar. 26, 2011 (AMP) — Gabon Equatorial Guinea 2012 (Qualifiers) : Malawi defeated Togo by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Malawians second in Group K with 9 points. Togo is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Malawi will meet group leaders Botswana on June 5, while Togo will face Botswana.
