Ghana beats Guinea to advance to AFCON semifinals
MALABO, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 : Ghana reached the semifinals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-0 win against Guinea (halftime: 2-0) on Sunday afternoon at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.
Christian Atsu scored dual goals
Ghana dominated the first half thanks to goals from Atsu ('4) and Appiah ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Ghanaians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Atsu in the 61st minute.
