OMDURMAN, Sep. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : South Africa defeated Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night at the Al-Merrikh Stadium in Omdurman.
The result put the South Africans top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, South Africa will meet Nigeria at the Al-Merrikh Stadium on September 10, while Sudan will face Congo-Brazzaville.
