POINTE-NOIRE, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Congo-Brazzaville defeated Sudan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium in Pointe-Noire.
The result put the Congolese top of Group A with 6 points. Sudan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Congo-Brazzaville will meet second-placed South Africa at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium on October 11, while Sudan will face Nigeria.
