POINTE-NOIRE, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : South Africa defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium in Pointe-Noire.

The result put the South Africans top of Group A with 7 points. Congo-Brazzaville is second with 6 points. In their next game, South Africa will meet second-placed Congo-Brazzaville at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium on October 15, while Congo-Brazzaville will face South Africa.
