KHARTOUM, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Sudan defeated Nigeria by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday night at the Khartoum Stadium.

The result put the Sudanese third in Group A with 3 points. Nigeria is bottom with one point. In their next game, Sudan will meet Nigeria at the Khartoum Stadium on October 15, while Nigeria will face Sudan.
