ABUJA, Oct. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Sudan by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the Abuja National Stadium.
The result put the Nigerians third in Group A with 4 points. Sudan is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Nigeria will meet second-placed Congo-Brazzaville at the Abuja National Stadium on November 15, while Sudan will face South Africa.
