POINTE-NOIRE, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Nigeria defeated Congo-Brazzaville by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium in Pointe-Noire.
The result put the Nigerians second in Group A with 7 points. Congo-Brazzaville is third with 7 points. In their last game, Nigeria will meet group leaders South Africa at the Pointe-Noire's Municipal Stadium on November 19, while Congo-Brazzaville will face Sudan.
