DURBAN, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : South Africa defeated Sudan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The result put the South Africans top of Group A with 11 points. Sudan is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, South Africa will meet third-placed Nigeria at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on November 19, while Sudan will face Congo-Brazzaville.
