BLANTYRE, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Malawi defeated Ethiopia by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the Kamuzu Stadium.
The result put the Malawians third in Group B with 3 points. Ethiopia is bottom with no points. In their next game, Malawi will meet second-placed Algeria at the Kamuzu Stadium on October 11, while Ethiopia will face Mali.
