BLANTYRE, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Malawi by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Kamuzu Stadium.
The result put the Algerians top of Group B with 9 points. Malawi is third with 3 points. In their next game, Algeria will meet third-placed Malawi at the Kamuzu Stadium on October 15, while Malawi will face Algeria.
