ABIDJAN, Sep. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Sierra Leone by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
The result put the Ivorians second in Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet group leaders Cameroon at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium on September 10, while Sierra Leone will face DR Congo.
