LUBUMBASHI, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Sierra Leone by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the TP Mazembe Stadium in Lubumbashi.
The result put the congolese third in Group D with 3 points. Sierra Leone is bottom with no points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet second-placed Ivory Coast at the TP Mazembe Stadium on October 11, while Sierra Leone will face Cameroon.
