KINSHASA, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated DR Congo by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Tata Raphael Stadium in Kinshasa.
The result put the Ivorians second in Group D with 6 points. DR Congo is third with 3 points. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet third-placed DR Congo at the Tata Raphael Stadium on October 15, while DR Congo will face Ivory Coast.
