KAMPALA, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Guinea by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
The result put the Ugandans top of Group E with 4 points. Guinea is third with 3 points. In their next game, Uganda will meet Togo at the Mandela National Stadium on October 11, while Guinea will face Ghana.
