NIAMEY, Sep. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Niger by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet Zambia at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium on September 10, while Niger will face Mozambique.
