PRAIA, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Zambia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the Cape Verde National Stadium in Praia.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group F with 6 points. Zambia is third with one point. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet second-placed Mozambique at the Cape Verde National Stadium on October 11, while Zambia will face Niger.
