MATOLA, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Mozambique defeated Cape Verde by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Machava Stadium in Matola.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group F with 6 points. Mozambique is second with 5 points. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet second-placed Mozambique at the Machava Stadium on October 15, while Mozambique will face Cape Verde.
