PRAIA, Oct. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Mozambique by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday afternoon at the Cape Verde National Stadium in Praia.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group F with 9 points. Mozambique is second with 5 points. In their next game, Cape Verde will meet Niger at the Cape Verde National Stadium on November 15, while Mozambique will face Zambia.
