PRAIA, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Cape Verde defeated Niger by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Cape Verde National Stadium in Praia.
The result put the Cape Verdeans top of Group F with 12 points. Niger is bottom with 2 points. In their last game, Cape Verde will meet second-placed Zambia at the Cape Verde National Stadium on November 19, while Niger will face Mozambique.
