GABORONE, Sep. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Equatorial Guinea 2015 (Qualifiers) : Senegal defeated Botswana by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night at the Botswana National Stadium in Gaborone.
The result put the Senegalese top of Group G with 6 points. Botswana is bottom with no points. In their next game, Senegal will meet second-placed Tunisia at the Botswana National Stadium on October 10, while Botswana will face Egypt.
