Cameroon beats Senegal in shoot out to advance to AFCON semifinals
FRANCEVILLE, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 : Cameroon reached the semifinals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Senegal 5-4 on penalties (after a 0-0 draw) on Saturday night at the Stade de Franceville.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Cameroonians finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 5-4.
