Ghana beats DR Congo to advance to AFCON semifinals
OYEM, Jan. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 : Ghana reached the semifinals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-1 win against DR Congo (halftime: 0-0) on Sunday afternoon at the Oyem Stadium.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Ayew ('63) and Ayew ('78 on penalty).
