PORT-GENTIL, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 : Burkina Faso secured the consolation of third place at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win against Ghana (halftime: 0-0) on Saturday night at the Port-Gentil Stadium.
Ghana made the Burkinabés doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Burkinabé midfielder Alain Traoré with one minute left in regular time.
